Renowned Chinese movie director Xie Fei is expected to be discharged from a Beijing hospital Friday with his recovery from SARS.
The 61-year-old veteran director says he will be isolated at home for half a month, after which he is to receive a check-up at hospital to make sure there's no relapse. He attributes his recovery to an optimistic mind as well as timely medical treatment.
