The former Chief Executive of China's leading portal sina.com has launched a powerful comeback into the IT industry.
When Wang Zhidong was forced to resign after losing a crucial battle inside sina's somewhat Taiwanese-dominated management last year, the mainlander promised to re-establish a network empire of his own within a short period.
Yesterday, the 35-year-old presented a company, called "Dianji Technology" with about fifty staff including some former elites of Sina.com.
Somewhat emotional, Wang Zhidong says it's time to forget about the past and hit the key to the future. And that's what the name of his new firm means.
