Action star Jackie Chan attended a press conference last night for the 4th Chinese Children's Charity Day, and was moved to tears by the children who got up on stage to thank him.

The promotional event was held in advance of a grand evening entitled "Devoting Your Love to Children", which will be held on June 22 at the Capital Gymnasium in Beijing to collect money for poor children who have had to drop out of school.

The Hong Kong star also donated his collection of "World Leaders Stamps" to the Chinese Children's Fund at Thursday's promotional event and called everyone in society to show their support for poor children.
