Beijing Courts Issue "How-to" Booklets for The Litigious

From August 1 this year, civil courts at all levels in the Chinese capital of Beijing will issue books containing handy legal tips.

Parties in civil actions will learn of risks and pitfalls they may encounter in each step of a lawsuit, which can help them protect their legal rights and interests via correct litigation, said a spokesman on Thursday.

Four kinds of risks, including the risks in prosecution, quotation, court hearing and execution, are mentioned in the book.

The policy aims to increase legal knowledge among the general public and help people avoid unnecessary losses.
