Two famous scenic mountains in Jiangxi Province, east China, have been endorsed to be national geological parks, local officials said Tuesday, December 12.
China approved the establishments of its first group of 11 such parks nationwide recently.

The mountain retains mixed features of glaciers and ice erosion, horst-led fault mountains, sandstone bluffs with waterfalls, and karst caves.
Work is being done for the mountain to be declared a world geological park.
