The China Yellow Rice-Wine Museum officially opened Monday in Shaoxing, an ancient city rich in history of culture, rice wine and celebrities, in east China's Zhejiang Province.

The museum has been designed as a research center on the techniques and culture of Yellow Rice-Wine, a place for both academic studies and tourism.
The museum offers an exhibition hall, a performance hall, a lecture room and a cellar. Tourists can take time enjoying rice wine ceremony performances there, and can also make use of the underground cellar of the museum to temporarily store their rice wine they purchased at the museum.
A commercial street was also in place outside the museum. Tourists can feel free to shop along and and dine in restaurants they love.
