Chinese actor and director Jiang Wen's new art-house film, The Sun Also Rises, debuted at the Venice Film Festival on Tuesday, China's web portal Sina reports.

Jiang Wen, accompanied by his girl friend, as well as the leading actress Zhou Yun, was present at the world premiere ceremony in Venice. Cast members Jaycee Chan, Kongwei and Jaycee Chan also attended the event.
