China Opposes Anti-dumping Abuse: MOFTEC Official
The Chinese government has always been carrying out anti-dumping investigation in conformity with the WTO rules and international practices and persevered in opposing the trade protection of ones own country by abusing anti-dumping measures, said Gao Yan, spokeswoman for China's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC).

Gao said, the Chinese government has accepted altogether 11 cases the Chinese enterprises brought up in accusation of the dumping by foreign enterprises, of which five have been wound up, one basically judged, and other five still under investigation.

With its own relatively perfect laws and rules, the Chinese government has always conducted anti-dumping investigation in accordance with the WTO rules and international practices. The anti-dumping investigations are carried out for the lawsuits filed by Chinese enterprises and the rulings are practical, objective and impartial. The Chinese government has always been opposing to protecting a country's own trade by abusing anti-dumping measures, Gao reiterated.

In addition, Gao pointed out that the Japanese government has suspended the investigation of importing limitation on China-made towel production and postponed the investigation for temporary importation to half a year. So she believed that the Japanese government would deal with the matter in an appropriate way.
