South China’s Hainan Province will take efforts to develop the cultural and sports sector in the next five years.
It will build three main constructions by 2005 including a sports center, a digital library and a museum, officials said.
Televisions and radio broadcasting will reach more than 98 percent of the province population. And in villages, farmers will be able to watch movies once a month.
It will publish more than 12.8 million books of and 680,000 video and audio products by 2005.
It was expected that three to four kinds of publications will be among the best ones of the country.
More than 35 percent of the population will participate in regular sports activities and professional sports teams will be established.
