China to Open 35 New Air Routes During Summer-autumn Season

China will open 35 new air routes during the upcoming summer-autumn season, including 20 domestic and 15 international routes.

From March 28 to Oct. 30, over 21,400 domestic flights will be offered every week, providing more than 3.25 million seats, up 12 percent over the previous year.

Nearly 2,000 international flights will be offered every week to over 70 cities in 31 nations and some 42 mainland cities will have air links to Hong Kong and Macao, with the total flights reaching 1,920.

The new domestic routes include Beijing to Jiuzhai, Hangzhou to Sanya, Shenzhen to Tongren and Shanghai to Qinhuangdao. The new international routes will include Nanjing to Osaka, Shanghai to Vancouver, Changchun to Sendai, Guangzhou to Saipan and Kunming to Siemreab.
