75 Pupils Leave Hospital After Treatment for Food Poisoning

Seventy-five pupils in northeast China's Jilin Province left hospital on Tuesday after recovering from food poisoning.

Another ten students are still in three hospitals in Jilin City. They are all stable and will leave hospital in a couple of days, said an official with the city's health bureau.

The 85 pupils, who all belong to the No. 4 Primary School of Jilin's Chuanying District, were hospitalized on Monday afternoon after eating lunch with kidney beans at the school canteen. They suffered nausea and vomiting, said a spokesman from a local hospital.

The local government is still investing the cause of the accident.
