Shanghai Builds Unisex Public Lavatory

There appears a unisex public lavatory in the Changfeng Park in Shanghai's West District, which has brought convenience to the disabled, the old and young parents with babies.

According to sources, costing between 20,000 and 30,000 yuan, the lavatory has been built in line with international unisex toilet standards.

Covering an area of about 10 square meters, the lavatory is equipped with a toilet seat, a men's urinal, and a hand basin. Besides, there are barrier-free facilities in the room.

The lavatory brings along convenience to the disabled and. And family members and nurses can also accompany them, which is both convenient and safe. The lavatory is welcomed by the aged who go there for taking exercise.
