Training and promotion prospects, instead of incentive salaries, are most favored by enterprise employees in China, according to a recent survey by a leading recruitment website.
The survey found that 21 percent of employees chose "training and promotion prospects" as most important for their future in a company.
Seventeen percent of the surveyed gave priority to incentive salaries, 14 percent for the attractiveness of the platform offered by company, 11 percent for a good working environment, and another 10 percent thought it is best if executives train staff themselves.
"A good company should set up mechanism for the development of employees, besides offering competitive salaries," said Huang Luzhen, chief operation officer of the website, cjol.com.
The survey was based on online voting at China's most popular websites including www.sohu.com and www.tom.com. Over 1 million votes have been collected in 4 months.
