Super Boys to Replace Super Girls

China's popular star-making TV program "Super Girls" will not be held next year, according to the event's organizers Hunan Television and Shanghai E.E. Media Group.

Li Zhihua from E.E. Media says the audience always want to see something new and the quality of this year's show was so satisfactory that the group plans to train and shape the super girls to be super stars.

He also explained that the company will stick to the "Super" series of TV programs. "Super Boys" is under preparation and will replace "Super Girls" next year.

A spokesman for Hunan TV says they are now busy promoting the South Korean TV drama "Dae Jang Geum" and will prepare for the Super Girls' China concert tour which kicks off in mid-September.
