Spend weekends creating novel recipes in the kitchen, and share them on the Internet. That's what some local ladies are doing in the city of Guangzhou, in southern China's Guangdong Province.
Although not a chef, Ms. Wang likes to make creative dishes, come up with catchy names for them, and put the recipes and easy tutorials on an online forum for people to follow.
Another lady, Ms. Li, enjoys a larger audience on the Internet. She runs a regularly-updated column at a forum where she introduces step-by-step methods for making all kinds of dishes. The site also carries exclusive photos to help netizens follow the directions.
Li says sharing and learning on the Internet is better than reading recipes from books, because it's more interactive.
