Yang Jiong, a policewoman with the Yangpu District Public Security Bureau of Shanghai, hugs her mother after returning home on Thursday from a one-year peacekeeping mission in Kosovo. Yang, 26, was the first Shanghai peacekeeping policewoman to be sent to Kosovo in April 2004.
