A special concert that took place in Guangzhou Youth Palace attracted a large number of students recently, Southern Metropolis News reports.

Some 200 students from the city's universities and colleges simultaneously played guitars during the concert.

Organizers of the concert said they were now planning to organize more than 1,000 students to simultaneously play guitars later this year and apply for a new Guinness world record.

The concert is also expected to help raise students' interest in music and further enrich students' campus lives.
