Juvenile Rights Protection in China

China has established a nationwide network to offer legal information and other services related to juvenile rights in urban areas.

The network was set up last year when the government began opening juvenile rights protection centers in big and medium-size cities throughout the country.

Besides the centers, services including hotlines have also been set up to answer legal and psychological questions.

China plans to set up training schools that specialize in juvenile legal services in a bid to teach children how to better protect their own rights and related legal issues.
