To show the respect and love for his mother, a man in Deyang of Sichuan Province invited an artist to make a sculpture of his mother who is still alive. 

Wang Shuzhang, 75, is the happy mother who brought up six children alone. Now she lives with one of her sons, Chen Shi, who came up with the idea.

Chen said his brothers and sisters all agreed with the idea because they wanted their mother to be happy and live longer.

The sculpture has been completed this month, China West Metropolis News reports.
