A kindergarten in Beijing will employ a female security guard from end of this month.
The kindergarten claims the new guard is a retired special police officer who is especially skilled in the often painful art of hand-to-hand combat.
But aside from ensuring the school's kids are safe, the new guard will also spend some time in the classroom teaching.
No information was given regarding the subject of her lessons.
A handful of other private kindergartens in the capital are planning to recruit female guards, despite the higher salary.
