Jackie Chan's The Myth Red-taped in India

The production of the film The Myth was put on hold when India's Directorate of Archaeology and Museums ordered sets to be removed from cultural sites in Hampi, Southern India.

The authorities said the film's producers didn't have permission to shoot the scene starring Jackie Chan and Bollywood beauty Mallika Sherawat, at the 15th-century Virupaksha temple, reported China Radio International.

However, director Stanley Tong said permission was granted by the Archaeological Survey of India and the Hampi World Heritage Site.
