2004 Top Ten of China's Miss Flowers Crowned

The "2004 Top Ten of China's Miss Flowers" contest has finished in east China's Nanjing city.

Twenty five young beauties made the final, China Radio International reported Thursday.

Ten young ladies were finally crowned with titles linked to the most popular flowers in China, like Miss Peony, Miss Azalea, Miss Plum Blossom, Miss China Rose, Miss Chrysanthemum and Miss Daffodil.

Inspired by the Chinese tradition to describe beautiful women as flowers, the contest highlights the candidates' personal characters as that of noble flowers.
