Zhi Shuping, deputy secretary of Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), left Beijing Wednesday for Kuala Lumpur to attend the General Assembly of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO) as a representative of the CPC.
Zhi is to attend the assembly, scheduled for June 20-22, at the invitation of UMNO Secretary General YB Tan Sri Khalil Yaakob.
Zhi will convey a message of congratulation from the CPC Central Committee to the assembly.
This is the sixth time that the CPC is invited to send its representative to the UMNO General Assembly.
