US President George W. Bush arrived Saturday in Russia's former imperial capital of Saint Petersburg for the second leg of a landmark summit meeting with President Vladimir Putin, RIA Novosti said.
The US presidential jet Air Force One touched down at the northern city's Pulkovo airport around 10:30am.
The two presidents are due to hold a question and answer session with students at Saint Petersburg's university in addition to visiting the city's world-famous Hermitage arts museum and Marinsky theatre.
On the opening leg of their summit in Moscow, Bush and Putin signed a historic disarmament treaty Friday cutting each side's nuclear arsenal by two thirds to less than 2,200 warheads and hailed a new era in US-Russian relations.
