The weekly passenger flight between Hong Kong and Luoyang, a scenic city in Central China's Henan Province, was reopened Sunday after being closed for five years.
Every Thursday at 6.00pm a Boeing 737-300 will now leave Luoyang for Hong Kong leaving Hong Kong for Luoyang at 9:40 pm.
The flights, chartered by a Luoyang-based tourist company, are conducted by the Henan Branch of the China Southern Airlines.
Booming tourism in Luoyang is the reason given for reopening the air route.
