U.S. Demand Not Acceptable for Any Afghan Muslim:Taliban

A spokesman for Taliban authorities Mulla Muttayin said on Sunday that the handover of Osama bin Laden demanded by the United States is "not acceptable for any Afghan Muslim", according to a report by the Pakistan- based Afghan Islamic Press (AIP).

"There is no change in our decision and we can not betray our Islam and the Afghan people," the spokesman said, adding that they are not ready to accept the Americans' demands.

He reiterated that the Taliban will attack any neighboring country which gives support to the United States in its anticipated military actions against the Taliban.
