Young Tibetans held a concert on the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) to show through song, their love for China and the Communist Party of China (CPC) .
The brand-new Tibetan Gymnasium where the concert took place was decorated with the bright red flags of the CPC and the CYLC with the central flag bearing the words "following the CPC forever " written in Tibetan and Chinese.
Cering Qunzog, a middle school student who had just joined the CYLC, said she was proud to have done so. She feels lucky to live in modern socialist Tibet as she is being well educated and plans to work hard to serve the construction of her hometown.
Wang Ping, an officer from the armed police said "Every year about seven soldiers enrol in the CYLC. They all pledge to contribute their best years to maintaining Tibet's prosperity and stability. Today the soldiers are expressing their pledge here in the songs."
