A batch of foreign cooperation projects worth more than US$700 million were clinched Friday in this capital of central China's Henan Province.
The 36 projects signed by local businessmen and foreign investors during the ongoing 2002 Henan Trade Fair covered energy, transport, urban infrastructure, real estate, agriculture, textiles, mineral products, distribution and new high technology.
Foreign partners in these projects are mainly from 11 countries and regions, including the United States, Japan, France, Britain, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
A total of 2,100 traders from 66 countries and regions have attended the fair, which runs from April 11 to 14 and is jointly initiated by the Henan Provincial Government and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
