Premier Zhu to Deliver Work Report Next Year
Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji will continue to deliver his government work report when the National People's Congress (NPC) convenes in March, 2003, the spokesman said Monday.

Zeng Jianhui, spokesman for the Fifth Session of the Ninth NPC, due to begin Tuesday, said at a press conference that this is because Premier Zhu's current term ends in March, 2003.

Who will be the next premier of China will be decided at the First Session of the Tenth NPC next year, Zeng said.

When asked about the age limit of the candidate for China's president, Zeng said the candidate must be at least 45 years old. But above that age, there is no limit.
