Road Accident Kills Four in Northwest China

Four people have been killed and eight injured in a road accident in Gaolan County of northwest China's Gansu Province, local police said Sunday.

At 7:30 am Saturday, a lorry collided with a three-wheeled farming vehicle loaded with 16 people on a national highway, killing two in the vehicle instantly and with two more dead in a local hospital.

The cause of the accident was still under investigation, according to the police.
