The largest home appliance market in northeast China will open on July 28 in Harbin, capital of the northeastern province of Heilongjiang.
The Harbin Wenzhou International Trade Center, which took 18 months to build, will have a total business space of 60,000 square meters and a 2,000-meter-long street of shops and stores, exclusively for electrical home appliance products.
Heilongjiang borders Russia and a flourishing cross-border trade has made the province a key channel for Chinese products into Russian markets. The trade center was expected to play a big role in promoting China-made home appliances, said Zhao Xinmin, general manager of the trade center.
