Search Continues for Shipwreck Victims
A rescue team has retrieved another eight bodies at the site where a passenger liner capsized after colliding with a freighter on the Chongqing section of the Yangtze River on Thursday.

So far 10 people are confirmed dead with dozens still unaccounted for. The central government has dispatched a team headed by Shan Chunchang, deputy director of the State Administration of Work Safety, to investigate the accident and oversee the salvage.

The investigation is still looking into the cause of the collision. A dozen rescue ships are at the scene to search for the missing passengers. But rapids and submerged rocks have hampered the efforts to locate the wreckage.
