The Chinese mainlander injured in last Saturday's blasts on Indonesia's Bali Island has returned to China safely, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said in Beijing Thursday.
Zhang said at a regular press conference that according to the latest report from the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, the Chinese mainlander was not seriously hurt, and had returned to China after treatment in an Indonesian hospital.
Zhang said no other Chinese casualty was found on the latest list of victims provided by the Indonesian police.
She said the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia had been trying through various channels to check for Chinese mainlanders, Hong Kong and Macao residents and Taiwanese among the casualties.
The Chinese Embassy in Indonesia was closely monitoring those Hong Kong and Macao residents and Taiwanese still missing, and was ready to offer any possible help to find them, Zhang said.
