China's firemen held an anti-terrorist emergency exercise Sunday afternoon in a suburban area of Beijing, Monday's Beijing Morning Post reported.
Fire brigades from Beijing and Tianjin cities and Shanxi, Shandong, Hebei and Liaoning provinces took part in the exercise, which was organized by the Fire-fighting Bureau under the Ministry of Public Security.
Firemen successfully dealt with simulated disasters, such as explosions, fires, collapsed buildings and bio-chemical incidents.
Vice-Minister of Public Security Yang Huanning encouraged the fire brigades to work hard and enhance their abilities to combat possible disasters.
