Nanchong city in southwestern China's Sichuan Province has arranged a series of activities for people living in the countryside to help them make better preparations for the upcoming Spring Festival.

Xinhua News Agency reports that a team of performers went to Luxi Town on Thursday for performances. Even in the snowy weather, they presented shows and other staff members provided technological and medical services to the local residents.

These activities helped to warm up the festival atmosphere in Luxi and were ardently welcomed by the local people.
