The central Chinese city of Wuhan developed a map that can be viewed online with images and videos, Science and Technology Daily reported Friday.
Users can view the map at map.wuhan.net.cn or map.ht.vnet.cn.
The interactive map covers 800 square kilometers of the city and includes 300,000 marked points viewable in pictures and 108 spots that can be seen with 360° viewing angles. These include well-known tourist spots like the Yellow Crane Tower and restaurants. Users can even move along a street and see the sights on both sides.
The map was jointly developed by the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing of Wuhan University, Leador Spatial Information Development Co. Ltd, and the Hubei branch of China Telecom.
