Xi'an Railway Station in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, is providing a special "Happy Tour" service to aid migrant workers who are leaving the city for home for the Spring Festival.
The Chinese Business View reported that the railway station opened a green passage for migrant workers and aims to bring convenience to migrant workers on their way home.
A manager at the railway station said migrant workers enjoyed a smooth stay at the station, from buying tickets to getting on the trains with help of the service teams and volunteer groups.
"We want them to forget about the long queues, dirty air, endless wait, and crowded mess. We want them to feel that the trip this year is different and is happy," the manager said.
A veteran migrant worker surnamed Fen said he felt like he was being specially treated and felt great about the station's services.
