Fujian police cracking down on Taiwan drug traffickers

Police in east China's Fujian Province cracked 16 drug trafficking cases involving Taiwan residents in 2007, police said.

An official of the Provincial Public Security Department said that police arrested 26 Taiwan drug traffickers, and confiscated 14.2 kg of heroin, 245 kg of ketamine, commonly known as "K", and 223 kg of "ice", a kind of heroin derivative, .

Meanwhile, the police seized abundant chemicals for drug making, including 329 kg of ephedrine.
