First non-stop emergency flight used between Hebei and Taiwan

The charter flight GE1192 from Taiwan TransAsia Airways arrives at Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport early on Monday morning, November 26, 2007.

A non-stop emergency medical rescue charter flight successfully sent an 88-year-old Taiwan patient from Shijiazhuang, capital of northern China's Hebei province, back to Taiwan for urgent treatment early Monday morning.

Xinhua news agency reported that this was the first time a non-stop emergency medical rescue charter flight was used between Hebei and Taiwan since a special bill overseeing "humanistic charter flights" was launched by aviation industries on the mainland and Taiwan in June, 2006.
