Pigs compete in a swimming contest on Friday, October 5 amid a "pig sports competition" held in Hefei, the capital of eastern China's Anhui province. Fifty pigs took part in several events, including racing, hurdling, swimming and diving. The competition was one of the planned activities for the local people during the country's week-long National Day holiday.
