Van Falls into River, 3 Killed, 10 Missing
Adjust font size:

Three people were killed, six injured and more than ten people are still missing after a traffic accident in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Thursday.

The accident occurred early in the morning when a vehicle with an unknown number of people onboard plunged into a river in Kangding County, an official with the Sichuan provincial administration of work safety said.

The official said that the search and rescue work was underway but has been hampered by the fact that the accident occurred in a remote mountain area.
