All the six workers trapped in last week's sewage plant collapse in north China's Hebei Province were confirmed dead, rescuers announced early on Thursday.

Rescue work ended on Wednesday after all the six dead bodies had been found.

One of the two sewage tanks of Qiaodong Sewage Disposal Plant in Shijiazhuang City collapsed on Dec. 14, burying 10 workers. Only four of them were saved from the debris.

The victims were all farmers from Chengde County.

Investigation on the case is going on.
