A "National Employment Service Week for University Graduates", sponsored by the Ministry of Personnel, began on Monday, preparing 436,000 work posts for college graduates nationwide.
During the week, 24,360 units will offer 365,000 work posts for university and college graduates and receive job applications from these graduates at 97 job hunting gatherings all over the country. 102 web sites are planning to recruit 71,000 employees through on-line advertisements.
The newest statistics from the Ministry of Personnel showed that 4.1 million students will graduate from institutions of higher learning in 2006, as against 3.38 million in 2005.
Among the 436,000 job vacancies, gifted personnel in 10 areas, such as marketing, Internet technology, finance, architecture, telecommunications, education, mechanical engineering, language translation, business management and human resources management, are the most wanted.
