Three miners were killed and two others rescued in a colliery collapse that happened in east China's Anhui Province four days ago, local government confirmed on Monday.
Information from Anhui Provincial Bureau of Coal Mine Safety said the cave-in happened around 2:40 AM Thursday at Daihe Coal Mine of Huaibei Coal Mining Group Co. Ltd., burying five miners in the coal mine shaft.
Two miners were rescued at around 1:40 AM on Friday. Three other miners were found dead on Saturday.
Cause of the accident is under investigation.
