Jet Safe After Forced Landing

Air China flight CA1307 from Beijing to Shenzhen made a forced landing at the Wuhan airport at 11:46 AM Sunday after its windscreen glasses split during the flight.

No injuries were made.

After a repair, the plane set off 7:06 PM from Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei Province, and landed in Shenzhen at 8:30 PM Sunday, seven hours later.

More than 20 passengers asked Air China to give them compensation after arriving in Shenzhen, saying Air China had neglected to check the glass before the plane took off.

A female worker surnamed Zhang with Air China's Shenzhen base confirmed the forced landing. The pilot discovered the windscreen glasses cracked, which was unsuitable for the flight.
