Hong Kong Registration and Electoral Office has sent out the electoral mailing package to each elector of the 2004 Legislative Council (LegCo) election, said the office Monday.

About 3.2 million registered electors should have by now received the package containing a poll card reminding them where and how to vote in the LegCo election, said the office.

The mailing package also includes a map indicating the location of the designated polling station, a voting guide and an introductory leaflet containing the photographs, personal particulars and platforms of the candidates in their respective constituencies.

There is also a leaflet from the Independent Commission Against Corruption on clean and fair elections.

The office said that all functional constituency electors, who are geographical constituency electors as well, will have the introductory leaflet of candidates in their functional constituency included as part of the mailing package sent to them.

The LegCo polling will be held on September 12, from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM.
