Well-Preserved Ancient Architecture Found in Zhejiang
A huge and well-preserved ancient architecture complex dating back 500 years was recently found in Dongyang in east China's Zhejiang province.

It is believed that the complex use to be the residence of offspring of Jiang Taigong, a legendary man of wisdom who helped found the Western Zhou Dynasty (1100-771 BC).

The complex features complicated patterns and meticulous designs of wood and brick carvings and colorful paintings.

Suyong Hall, the main building of the complex, for instance, has nine sections expanding 320 meters.

It is learnt that after this ancient architecture complex is renovated, local authorities will apply for it to be put on the world historical and cultural heritage list.
