World cell phone giant Siemens plans to turn its Beijing research and development center into its design center.
Manager of the company's Beijing subsidiary said all new models will be developed in the Chinese capital.
More than 400 jobs will be created, with 10 to 20 percent of the vacancies offered to new graduates.
Siemens says it will form a 'Wisdom Database' with more than 600 researchers before September, which will be the biggest design center owned by an international company in China.
