The 2003 Forum for APEC Finance and Development Program will be held in Shanghai today, according to source with local officials.
The annual forum is held as a regular activity of the AFDP, co-initiated by the Chinese government and the World Bank. This year's forum will discuss topics of common interest to enhance communication and exchanges between government officials, business groups and scholars from the Asia-Pacific region countries. Top financial officials, including World Bank Vice President Cesare Calari, will attend this year's forum.
