The China Construction Bank (CCB) reported Friday its best ever results in 2002 across all its business sectors.
A CCB spokesman said so far this year the bank's savings deposits had increased to a record 200 billion yuan (US$ 24.18 billion), and holders of the bank's Dragon Card had reached 117million, ranking it first among domestic banks.
He said this year the bank set up a center for motor vehicle financial services and launched a loan package for buying housing and motor vehicles, offering more convenience for clients.
Statistics show that the bank's outstanding individual loans reached 28.3 billion yuan, of which 13 billion yuan has been channeled to the motor vehicle market.
The bank had also opened a securities business system this year connecting more than 280 cities and over 5,700 business outlets, the biggest network among China's commercial banks.
